With so many body contouring procedures out there, it can seem like it’s hard to choose the one that’s right for you. And because there are now non-invasive ways to get rid of unwanted, stubborn fat, the choice can seem especially overwhelming. The problem that some patients (especially in the fitness community) have with a lot of body contouring procedures is that although they can get rid of fat, they don’t help with muscle tone or definition. Â What if we told you that you could lose fat and build muscles all with one non-invasive procedure?
What’s Emsculpt?
Emsculpt is a unique procedure that uses high-intensity electromagnetic waves to build and shape abdominal muscles. During this procedure, your muscles will be contracted up to 20,000 times, which helps to both target fat and encourage the growth of muscle.
How Many Treatments Will I Need?
One of the things that our patients like about Emculpt is that results are fast and there aren’t many treatments required. Traditionally, patients will come in twice a week for two consecutive weeks. Treatments are spaced about three days apart to allow for muscle recovery so that we don’t overtrain your muscles.
What Areas Can It Treat?
Although Emsculpt was initially created to help train the abdominal muscles and get them lean and toned, it can also be used on the buttocks, arms, and thighs.
Who Is a Good Candidate?
Both men and women make ideal candidates for Emsculpt. However, if you are pregnant, or have a pacemaker or other similar devices, you won’t be the right candidate for this procedure. During your initial consultation, we will determine whether or not Emsculpt is right for you.
Having a lean body is one thing, but having a lean and toned body is something that most people want. If you want to learn more about how Emsculpt can give you the best result possible, contact our West Orange office and call (973) 243-2300.
